About God – We believe that there is only one living and
true God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father,
the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that
this triune God created all, upholds all and governs all.
The Bible – We believe that the scriptures of the Old and
New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired, without
error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule
of faith and practice.
About Father God – We believe in God the Father, an
infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom,
power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the
affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that
He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through
Jesus Christ.
About Jesus Christ – We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only
begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in
His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teaching, His
substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection,
ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people
and personal, visible return to earth.
About the Holy Spirit – We believe in the Holy Spirit, who
came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of
sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate,
sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ;
we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus
Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in
the exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Spirit.
About Human Beings – We believe that people are made in the
spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People
are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although each has
a tremendous potential for good, all men are sinners by
nature and choice and are, therefore, under condemnation. We
believe that God regenerates, by the Holy Spirit, those who
repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
About the Return of Christ – We believe in the personal,
visible return of Christ to earth for the establishment of
His kingdom; in the resurrection of the body, the final
judgment, eternal blessing of the righteous and endless
suffering of the wicked.
About the Priesthood of every Believer – The Bible teaches
that every Christian is called to "fulltime" Christian
service, regardless of his or her vocation. We practice the
truth that every believer is a minister by encouraging every
member to find a place of service and ministry. Every
believer has direct access to God through prayer and Bible
reading.
About the Baptism with the Holy Spirit – We practice
laying-on-of-hands for the baptism with the Holy Spirit, and
believe that there will be a subsequent spiritual
manifestation. Divine Healing – We practice laying on of
hands for the sick and the prayer of faith to accompany
healing. We believe God still does miracles today and
petition Him regularly to intervene.
About Telling Others about Christ – It is the responsibility
of every Christian to share the Good News with those God
brings us in contact with. We practice personal sharing
about Christ and inviting friends to church.
